Ronald J. "Ron" Stratton, Jr. age 54 of Corning, NY passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.
Born on October 11, 1967 in Bath, NY, he was the son of Ronald Stratton, Sr. and Sharon Naylor. Ron was a graduate of Corning Painted Post West High School, class of 1986. Ron worked for various trucking companies throughout the United States. Ron was a huge Buffalo Bills fan and Oklahoma Sooners fan. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his nieces, nephew and great nieces and nephew.
Ron is survived by his mother, Sharon Naylor of Painted Post, NY; father, Ronald Stratton, Sr. of Monterey, NY; sister, Christine (Timothy) Gehl of Painted Post, NY; nieces: Megan (Charles) Harrison of Corning, NY, Mallery (Nathan) Crosby of Corning, NY; nephew, Gunnar Gurnsey of Buffalo, NY; great nieces and nephews: Charleigh, Freya and Jasper.
Ron was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: James and Catherine Stratton and maternal grandparents: Edward and Frances Aiken.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
