Obituary for Michael Olin Hennessy II
Michael Olin Hennessy II, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born on April 26, 2002 in Corning, the son of Michael Hennessy and Kristina Bush.
Michael was known for his contagious smile, he gives the best hugs ever, and he got along with everyone. He helped others to get along better by taking on the role of peacemaker. Michael was a car enthusiast, liked to go bowling, and he was a role model for children. He worked as a P.T. Ramp Agent at Elmira Corning Regional Airport .
He is survived by his mother, Kristina N. Bush of Hornell, father, Michael and Misty Hennessy of Florida, siblings, Daniel Parulski II, Jasmine Parulski, Lillian Bush, Derek Hennessy, William Hennessy, Samuel Hennessy, and Lukis Hennessey, grandparents, Julie and Rick Morrow of Bath, Robert and Debra Bush of Corning, Carol Nichols of Montour Falls, and Joseph and Sandy Hostrander of Florida, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Donald Nichols.
A celebration of Michael's life will take place on Sunday, June 12 from 1-5PM at Clute Park in Watkins Glen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests guests bring a dish to pass.
