Obituary for Luis Carlos Gómez Bravo
Luis Carlos Gómez Bravo, age 69 of Caracas, Venezuela, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his daughter's home in Corning, NY. Born on March 29, 1952 in Caracas, Venezuela, he was the son of Carlos Gomez Moreno and Rita Esperanza Bravo.
Luis was passionate about everything he did. With subjects of interest, he would delve deep to achieve full understanding; he enjoyed challenging theories and building his own from what he would learn. He was an expert in strategic planning and optimization of processes. His consulting work contributed greatly to the success of many companies. He turned everything into data to analyze, and was the author and co-author of several books. His love for his guitar, which was his life-partner and constant through life, led him to play for hours a day and take her everywhere he went. His great musical sensibilities drove him to compose unique musical content as well. His biggest passion was his family; his siblings, nephews, nieces, and above all his children; whose growth and development he supported unconditionally.
Luis is survived by his children: Sinue (47), Josue (44), Nekane (37), Sofia (18), and Simon (16); and grandchildren: Amaia and Noah. His legacy are his children, his music, and his books.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
