Obituary for Linda Mary Harris
Linda Harris of Big Flats passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.
Linda was born on April 17, 1948 in Corning, the daughter of the late Earl and Bessie (Cornish) Johns. She was a stay at home mom and babysitter for many families. She enjoyed playing Euchre, Crocheting, BINGO, and going to casinos. When Linda was not doing those, she enjoyed her time with family and friends. She was a member of the Big Flats American Legion Auxiliary Post 1612.
She is survived by her children: Rob (Cindy) Harris, Teresa (Chris) Dean, Tammy (Paul) Stein, Tina (Joe) Martin; grandchildren: Brian (Ann) Dean, Tyler (Jennie) Dean, Derek (Alana) Stein, Alyssa (Blake) Martin, Mackenzie Stein, Lizzy Martin, Betty Jo Daum, and Jimmie (Chi) Daum; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brother: Butch (Barb) Daniels; sister: Peggy Buckley, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her husband Robert, Granddaughter Emily Martin, one sister, and three brothers.
Family and Friends are invited to call on February 22, 2022 from 1-4pm at Phillips Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 4:00pm. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, please play BINGO, a scratch off ticket, or a game at the casino in her honor.
