Obituary for Linda D. Austin (Seymour)
Linda D. Austin, age 69 of Campbell, New York passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at home. She was born on October 27, 1952 in Corning, New York to Leon and Dorothy (Burrell) Seymour. Linda was a 1970 graduate of Corning East High School. She married James Austin on June 11, 1994.
She worked at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Painted Post for nearly 35 years.
Linda will be remembered for as a avid bowler, and enjoyed playing Bingo. Linda always cherished spending time with her family, and her grandchildren brought her great joy.
Linda is survived by her husband, James; son: James W. (Jessica) Austin Jr. of Campbell; two grandchildren: Allie, and Parker Austin; sister: Patricia Magee of Campbell, along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by siblings: Mark Seymour, David Seymour, and Judy Ruocco.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Bath National Cemetery, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
