Karen L. Fogarty, age 57, of Horseheads, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on September 3, 1965 in Corning, the daughter of the late Harold and Shirley (Scott) Burdick.

Karen loved fixing up her home and yard with decorations and flowers. She had a beautiful smile, she was a loving person, and she struggled with being a single Mom with 5 children but she made things happen and work. Karen loved doing things with all of her family members and friends and she always made sure her grandchildren were happy and taken care of. Karen loved going to football games for Jayden, Owen, Zoey, and Joey in Corning for small fry football and she was always helping others get on their feet when they were in tough spots. Karen was a graduate of Corning East High School, worked at Fastrac for 13 years and she also worked for Corning Painted Post School District. She will be missed by a as lot of family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Carl John Fogarty, Tanya Fogarty, Tarah Fogarty, Annejessica Jack-Robble, and Samual Jack, and grandchildren, Jayden Vandusen, Owen Spencer, Zoey Soriano, Joey Soriano, Greyson Robble, and Carson Robble. Karen also leaves behind sisters, brothers, friends, and family.

A private gathering to celebrate Karen's life will take place at the convenience of the family.
