Obituary for Jeffery A. "Jeff" Neally
Jeffery A. "Jeff" Neally, age 67 of Lawrenceville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his home.
Born on October 11, 1953 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late John and June (Ball) Neally. Jeff was a graduate of Addison High School, class of 1971. Jeff served in the United States Navy from January of 1972 to January of 1973. He served on Board the USS Waccamaw off the coast of Vietnam from August of 1972 to January of 1973. He married Mary Lou Collins on December 29, 1993 in Lindley, NY. Jeff was a jack of all trades, a master of none and farming was his passion.
Jeff will be remembered for his love of gardening, four wheeling and big trucks. He was an avid gun collector who loved to hunt. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Neally of Lawrenceville, PA; children: Alan (Cassie) Neally of Corning, NY, Julie (Daniel) Harris of Addison, NY, Christopher Turner of Corning, NY, Phillip (Kaala) Neally of Meshoppen, PA; grandchildren: Cecelia, Collin, Luca and Trey Neally, DaniJo Harris, Annabelle and Piper Neally; siblings: Steven (Cindy) Neally, Barb (Richard) Heffner; sisters-in-law: Candy Neally and Vicki Neally; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was predeceased by his brothers: Larry and Tom Neally and step-father, Harry Haskins.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney Street Corning, NY. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in the family plot in Presho Cemetery, Lindley.
