Obituary for Janette P. Neally (Phillips)
Janette P. Neally, age 82, of Painted Post, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at home. She was born on August 22, 1939 in Campbell, the daughter of the late James and Bertha (Lake) Phillips. She married Harold Neally on June 9, 2016.
Janette loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she was a member of Victory Highway Wesleyan Church for many years, and she led a ladies bible study. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Janette enjoyed the ocean, boating on the lake, canning, gardening, tending to her flower beds and sewing.
She is survived by husband, Harold, children, Debra Campbell of Corning, James (Bonnie) Morse of Campbell, David (Eunice) Morse of Campbell, and Laurie (Tim) Sly of Addison, grandchildren, Anjela Radford, Stephen (Deborah) Knowles, James Morse, Jr., Jeremy Morse, Justin (Kiera) Morse, Ashlee Clark, Benjamin (Morgan) Buck, Dea Buck, Andrea Buck, Timothy J. (Casity) Sly, Nikita Robinson, and Carissa (Corey) Orcutt, 27 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, siblings Dewaine (Dorothy) Phillips of Bath and Virginia (Dwight) Chapman of Campbell. Janette also leaves behind a large extended family including step children and step grandchildren. Along with her parents Janette was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Allen, and former spouses, W. Samuel Mori and Dale Leibensperger.
Family and friends are invited to call at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, 150 Victory Highway, Painted Post, on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will immediately follow there at 1:00 pm. Private burial will take place at Seamans Cemetery in Savona.
