Obituary for Glenda Leah Hannan (Hall)

Glenda Leah (Hall) Hannan, 69, of 5463 Wolf Run Road of Campbell, NY passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2023 at Corning Hospital after a short battle with pneumonia.

Glenda Hall was born January 16, 1954 to the parents of Carroll E. and Helen A. (Mastenbrook) Hall at the Air Force Base in Washington D.C.

After Graduating from Savona Central School in 1973 she went to be a wife and mother. She met Lynn B. Hannan at the stock and run dances in 1972. They were married July 13, 1974. They had two children Carolynn and Daniel Hannan.

For many years Glenda was a homemaker and day care provider. Not only did Glenda have a huge influence on her own kids, she also had many other kids she showed love too. She was a Girl Scout leader and a Cub Scout leader. Her house was always open to others.

Glenda also worked in healthcare at Three Rivers then to Fred and Harriett Taylor and finished her C.N.A. career at Ira Davenport Hospital where she was injured on the job. She helped many people throughout her life by taking care of them.

One of her hobbies was baton twirling when she was in high school. She did many crafts and she read a lot of smut books. She had many countless coffee dates and meals with her friends Mark and Diana Phillipson, Nanette and Joel Scogin, Bob and Susan Nichols and many others.

She did many years of genealogy research on our family. Plus she was an amazing cook and baker. She loved catching up with friends and family on Facebook.

Glenda was predeceased by her parents Carroll and Helen Hall, her brother Stuart (Ed) Hall, her in-laws Gordon and Evelyn Hannan, her brother in law Joseph Crane, her Jewish Mother Barbra Bagely and many of her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years Lynn B. Hannan, her children Carolynn (Richard) Koehler, Daniel (Janelle) Hannan, her grandchildren Angelika (Jay) Kuczowski, Rhaelynn Koehler (Michael Gee), Patrick Koehler, Jamison Hannan, Blake Hannan, Brielle Dillon and her first great grandchild Parker Kuczkowski, sister in law Dawn Hall, niece Samantha Hall, sister and brother in law, George (Jim) and Sharon Stewart and their kids Rebecca (Raymond) Nowicki, Richard (Tammy) Stewart, another sister in law Cindy Crane and niece, Jennifer Crane, plus many other special cousins she spent a lot of time with. Last but not least her Connecticut family Kathy and Paula Bagley, Ron and Louise Lucia, Carol Cleaver and all of their kids.

Family and friends may attend the graveside service for Glenda scheduled to take place at Seamans Cemetery in Savona on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 am.
