Obituary for Gidget Lee Royce-Pavlot
Gidget Lee Royce-Pavlot, age 52, of Corning, NY, born on June 27, 1969 in Corning, NY, chose to move on to the next phase of her journey on Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Gidget is survived by her parents, James and Patricia Royce of Corning, and her two daughters, Taylor Royce-Pavlot of Dansville, NY and Morgan Royce-Pavlot of Big Flats, NY. Other surviving family members include Ron (Marge) Abbey of Beaver Dams, NY, Constance Carson of Gibson, NY, Deborah Jelliff of Corning, NY, Galen (Kim) Ayers of Gang Mills, Karen Holden of Corning, NY, Tammy (Joe) Bardo of Corning, NY, Roger Ayers of Corning, NY and many cousins.
She was a warrior, overcoming several medical complications since birth. Gidget, no matter how sick, always had a bright smile and an "I Love You" for everyone she came in contact with. She had so much love and light to spread. In 2006, Gidget received her liver transplant and was blessed with 16 more years.
She was a paralegal in her younger years and later in life she enjoyed working part-time at Peaches and Cream Ice Cream Shop, spreading her joy there for 10 years. She was loved and supported by her family. Gidget had a zest for life and was known to be a fighter. She outlived many prognosis's with sheer will and a tremendous love for life. She will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 10th at the American Legion located at 45 Olcott Rd S, Big Flats, NY 14814 from 12pm to 3pm. All are welcome..
