Obituary for Eugene Thomas Buman
Eugene Thomas Buman, age 75, of Lindley, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was born on July 21, 1945 in Corning, the son of the late James R. and Clara V. (Hoppe) Buman. He married Patricia A. Wheeler on January 22, 1966 in Lindley.
Eugene was loving and generous and he cherished the time he spent with family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed family gatherings and making memories. Eugene was a hard worker and an avid outdoorsman including farming, hunting, spending time at camp, and just being outside. He had his own little machine shop and could fabricate any parts that anyone needed.
He is survived by wife of 55 years, Patricia A. Buman, children, Tammy (Joseph) Carey of Corning, Thomas Eugene (Ann) Buman of Lindley, and Marcia Buman of Horseheads, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 brother, 6 sisters, and nieces and nephews. Eugene was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Family and friends are invited to call at Phillips Funeral Home 17 W. Pulteney Street Corning, on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
