Obituary for Christopher M. Povoski
Christopher M. Povoski, age 33 of Corning, New York passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Guthrie Corning Hospital.
He was born on October 24, 1989 in Watertown, New York the son of Timothy Povoski and Jill Powers. Christopher was a graduate of Corning West High School. He was employed by Corning Incorporated as a tool and die machinist.
Chris will be remembered for the amazing father, fiancé, brother and friend that he was. He loved to play video games with his brothers and play soccer with his boys. He also loved to make his baby girl smile and take naps with her. He was always the first to crack a joke but always the most caring person in the room.
Chris is survived by his fiancé, Morgan Davidson; his children: Ryan Povoski, Owen Povoski, and Grace Povoski; parents, Timothy Povoski, and Jill Powers; Mother in law, Kristyn (Brian) Hall, Father in law Rick (Kelly) Davidson; siblings: Stephen (Carolyn) Povoski, Collin Povoski, and Josh Blencowe, brother in law Mitchell (Jessica) Rockwell; and his best friend, Kyle (Kyra) Serdula.
There will be a celebration of Chris’s Life to be held at the United Steelworkers Union Hall at 100 Nasser Civic Center Plz, Corning NY on Wednesday February 22 at 2pm.
