Obituary for Charles R. "Chuck" Hatcher
Charles R. "Chuck" Hatcher, age 75 of Beaver Dams, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home.
Born on October 6, 1945 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Sarah (Finch) Hatcher. Chuck was a graduate of Cowanesque Valley High School, class of 1963. He married Cynthia Simmers on November 5, 1995 in Beaver Dams, NY. She predeceased him on April 3, 2014. He worked in maintenance for Corning Inc. for over 30 years before his retirement, recently receiving his 50 year service pin.
Chuck will be remembered for his love of Italian food, attending auctions, and spending time with his cat, TC, "Therapy Cat".
Chuck is survived by two children; three step children; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside will take place at the convenience of the family. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with the arrangements.
